Designation of Poll Watchers Form and Instructions

Early Voting

Designations of poll watchers for early voting areas shall be submitted in writing to the supervisor of elections, on a form prescribed by the division, before noon at least 14 days before early voting begins.

Election Day

Designations of poll watchers for Election Day polling places shall be submitted in writing to the supervisor of elections, on a form prescribed by the division, no later than noon ofthe second Tuesday preceding the election.

Vote-by-Mail Report

Qualified Candidates Only, F.S. 101.62(2)

Reports are scheduled to begin no later than 60 days before a primary election.Municipal election reports are scheduled to begin no later than 45 days before the election.

Note that the vote-by-mail file is a countywide (TXT) file and is published daily. The file is posted in date sequential order, from oldest to most recent. After downloading the TXT file, you can then open and view the report in Microsoft Excel, Access, or comparable software.

Information in the vote-by-mail file includes the voter FVRS number, ballot delivery date, military/civilian overseas status, precinct/precinct split information, voter party affiliation, voter name, voter mailing address, etc.

Please refer to the following vote-by-mail report request status codes (Column H):

  • C: Cancelled by the voter
  • E: Voter error
  • L: Returned untimely
  • N: Unsigned
  • P: Provided
  • R: Requested (this election)
  • S: Standing (all elections)
  • U: Returned undeliverable
  • V: Returned and voted timely
  • X: Mismatched signature

Vote-by-Mail Returned Missing Signature or Signature No Match

Under status codes ‘E’, ‘N’ and ‘X,’ this report includes individuals who have returned their vote-by-mail ballot to our office without a signature on the Voter’s Certificate, or a signature on the Voter’s Certificate that did not match the voter signature on file. For more information about the affidavit to correct a missing or non-matching signature, visit our Vote-By-Mail page. Our office will reach out to voters with a missing or non-matching signature to inform them about curing their vote-by-mail ballot.
