The Office encourages civil, public discussion related to its posts. However, the Office reserves the right to hide, edit,or remove comments or content that:
- Is not related to the topic of the post.
- Contains profanity, offensive images, or inappropriate language.
- Promotes discrimination based on race, gender, color, age, religion, national origin, disability, sexual
orientation or identity, or public assistance status. - Contains sexual content or links to sexual content.
- Advertises or promotes unauthorized products or services.
- Encourages or promotes illegal activity.
- Poses a threat to public safety or the security of public systems.
- Violates copyright, trademark, or intellectual property laws.
- Contains personal attacks or inflammatory remarks directed at Office employees, public officials, other
commenters, or individuals. - Contains campaign content from candidates for elected office or other campaign-related messaging.
All hidden or removed content will be archived and maintained in accordance with Florida public records laws.
Accusations of criminal conduct or unethical behavior by Office staff will not be permitted on social media. Individuals who wish to file a formal complaint should do so through official channels.
